Iowa High School Basketball - East Union ripped by Coon Rapids-Bayard

The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting East Union Eagles to 44 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Crusaders now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodbine for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Coon Rapids-Bayard will meet a Tigers team coming off a 58-46 league win over Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.

The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA). The Blue Devils enter the Pride of Iowa contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Martensdale-St. Mary's triumphed over Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA), 58-53, in a non-league contest.
