The Quitman Bulldogs basketball team (Quitman, TX), was nudged 38-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Cooper Bulldogs (Cooper, TX)

The Bulldogs now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Hopkins for a 2A Region II District 15 battle on Tuesday, December 19. Cooper will battle a Panthers team coming off a 51-38 non-league loss to Brook Hill (Bullard, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 8-5.

The Bulldogs (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Sabine edged Alto (Alto, TX), 67-31, in a non-league battle.
