Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Monahans Loboes (Monahans, TX), 76-71 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Coronado upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 14-3. San Angelo Central won 62-59 in their recent non-league bout against Tivy (Kerrville, TX)

Next up, the Loboes clash with the Del Rio Rams (Del Rio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Monahans will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 89-77 non-league win over Winn (Eagle Pass, TX).
