Darrington Loggers (Darrington, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake Quinault Elks (Amanda Park, WA), 65-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Darrington upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Loggers travel to Mount Vernon Christian (Mount Vernon, WA) to play the Hurricanes in a 1B/2B Northwest bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Mount Vernon Christian won 58-48 in their recent league bout against Orcas Island (Eastsound, WA)

Next up, the Elks play the Concrete Lions (Concrete, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Lake Quinault will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 61-19 league loss to Mount Vernon Christian (Mount Vernon, WA).
