Arizona High School Basketball - West Point topples Desert Edge

In Friday's non-league outing, the West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ) basketball squad beat the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ), by a margin of 75-58.

The Dragons (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against North (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, North defeated Skyline (Mesa, AZ), 51-49, in a non-league outing.

The Scorpions now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Washington for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 19. Desert Edge will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 67-45 league loss to Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 2-8.
