Oregon High School Basketball - Weston-McEwen can't hold off Echo

The Echo Cougars basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Weston-McEwen TigerScots to 68 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heppner for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Echo will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 50-41 non-league win over Central Linn (Halsey, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-2.
The TigerScots (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Central Linn (Halsey, OR). The Cobras enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Central Linn was nudged by Heppner (Heppner, OR), 50-41, in a non-league contest.
