    • Georgia High School Basketball - Fayette County thwarts McIntosh

    December 15, 2023: Peachtree City, GA 30269

    The Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA) basketball knocked off the host McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA), 50-36 in Friday's non-league test.

    The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Huffman (Birmingham, AL). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Huffman notched a victory over Central (Phenix City, AL), 54-52, in a non-league test.

    The Chiefs now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Newnan for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. McIntosh will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 89-45 league loss to Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-5.
