Bowsher BlueRacers (Toledo, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Washtenaw Christian Academy Wildcats (Saline, MI), 50-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bowsher upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The BlueRacers travel to Waite (Toledo, OH) to play the Indians in a Toledo City bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Waite lost 67-51 in their recent league bout against Start (Toledo, OH)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Hope Christian Academy Hawks (Westland, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Washtenaw Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 57-38 non-league loss to Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI).
