In Friday's non-league outing, the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) basketball squad edged the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), by a count of 74-69.
The Yellow Jackets (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets go into the non-league outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, North Stanly held off South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 71-54, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Parkwood for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 27.
