McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Franklin Classical School Knights (Franklin, TN), 51-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McLean County upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Highlands Latin (Louisville, KY) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Highlands Latin won 69-28 in their recent non-league bout against Columbus HomeSchool (Columbus, IN)

Next up, the Knights play the Burgin Bulldogs (Burgin, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Franklin Classical School will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 37-33 non-league loss to Fort Knox (Fort Knox, KY).
