Texas High School Basketball - Grand Saline tops Mineola

Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX), 61-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Grand Saline upgrades its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Yantis (Yantis, TX) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 11-3. Yantis won 51-41 in their recent league bout against Union Hill (Gilmer, TX)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Winona Wildcats (Winona, TX) in a 3A Region II District 13 bout, on Monday, December 18. Mineola will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 57-44 non-league loss to Queen City (Queen City, TX).
