Utah High School Basketball - Green Canyon nudges Payson

December 15, 2023: North Logan, UT 84341

In Friday's non-league outing, the Green Canyon Wolves (North Logan, UT) basketball squad nipped the visiting Payson Lions (Payson, UT), by a margin of 55-52.

The Wolves (9-0) will now prepare for their outing against Desert Hills (St. George, UT). The Thunder go into the non-league outing with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Desert Hills held off Logan (Logan, UT), 65-54, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Lions play the Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Payson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 84-75 non-league win over Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT).
