The Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) basketball felled the host West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD), 71-54 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD). The Cavaliers go into the A Region 1 test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Roncalli was beaten by Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD), 50-31, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Garretson for a A Region 3 test on Monday, December 18. West Central will encounter a Blue Dragons squad coming off a 64-36 league loss to Tri-Valley (Colton, SD). The Blue Dragons record now stands at 0-3.
