The Hanceville Bulldogs (Hanceville, AL) basketball nipped the host Pennington Tigers (Blountsville, AL), 62-60 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Good Hope (Cullman, AL). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, Good Hope held off Priceville (Priceville, AL), 64-27, in a league bout.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Pennington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 78-37 league win over Cold Springs (Bremen, AL).
