The Haynesville Golden Tornado basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Summerfield Rebels to 35 in the Golden Tornado non-league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Tornado now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jonesboro-Hodge for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Haynesville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 59-26 non-league loss to Lincoln Prep (Grambling, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-6.
The Rebels (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Doyline (Doyline, LA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Doyline ran past Georgetown (Georgetown, LA), 74-53, in a non-league contest.
