In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Troup Tigers basketball team scored a tight 51-46 triumph over the Kerens Bobcats.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Tatum Eagles (Tatum, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 match, on Tuesday, December 19. Troup will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 6-5 record after their 59-50 non-league loss to Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX).
