With the victory, Walnut improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Mantachie (Mantachie, MS) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Mantachie lost 68-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Hatley (Amory, MS)

Next up, the Aggies play the North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Kossuth will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 5-11 record after their 59-58 non-league loss to Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS).
