The Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD) basketball nipped the host Newcastle Dogies (Newcastle, WY), 59-56 in Friday's non-league test.

The Golddiggers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Sundance (Sundance, WY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Sundance got by Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD), 58-49, in a non-league test.
