In Friday's non-league outing, the Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) basketball squad edged the host Lindblom Eagles (Chicago, IL), by a margin of 74-73.
The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. Mary's (St. Louis, MO). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 8-0 record.
The Eagles now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Herrin for a non-league match on Saturday, December 16. Lindblom will meet a Tigers team coming off a 54-36 league win over Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-2.
