The St. Charles Catholic Comets basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Maurepas Wolves to 29 in the Comets non-league victory on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. St. Charles Catholic will battle a Swamp Owls team coming off a 82-42 non-league loss to South Plaquemines (Buras, LA). The Swamp Owls record now stands at 2-9.

The Wolves (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against North (Worcester, MA). The Polar Bears come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, North triumphed over Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA), 94-43, in a non-league bout.
