The Monroe Dragons basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Yoncalla Eagles to 17 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Illinois Valley for a 2A Valley Coast contest on Saturday, December 16. Monroe will meet a Cougars team coming off a 68-60 non-league win over North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 5-1.
