The Mt. Pleasant Tigers ran past the host Royse City Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 52-44 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Whitehouse Wildcats (Whitehouse, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 game, on Tuesday, December 19. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 4-8 record after their 49-29 non-league loss to Palestine (Palestine, TX).

With the defeat, Royse City moves to 7-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Rockwall (Rockwall, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a 6A Region II District 10 game on Tuesday, December 19.
