In Friday's non-league outing, the Navasota Rattlers (Navasota, TX) basketball squad felled the visiting Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX), by a margin of 48-32.
The Rattlers (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against West Fork (Kingwood, TX). The Gators go into the non-league outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, West Fork was beaten by Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX), 79-37, in a league outing.
The Tigers now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington for a 3A Region III District 19 outing on Tuesday, December 19. Rockdale will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 65-36 non-league win over Smithville (Smithville, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-3.
