Louisiana High School Basketball - Northside can't hold off Southside

The Southside Sharks basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Northside Vikings to 42 in the Sharks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Sharks now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alexandria for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Southside will battle a Trojans team coming off a 46-26 non-league loss to New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-3.
The Vikings (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Franklin, LA). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Franklin nudged Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA), 49-35, in a non-league contest.
