Redwood Christian Eagles (San Lorenzo, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Oakland Military Institute Grizzlies (Oakland, CA), 71-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Redwood Christian upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA) to play the Dons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Dons come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Arroyo lost 49-38 in their recent non-league bout against Deer Valley (Antioch, CA)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Madison Park Academy Trojan-Warriors (Oakland, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Oakland Military Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Trojan-Warriors come into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 47-43 league win over Bay Tech (Oakland, CA).
