Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL), 75-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tremont upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Turks travel to Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Spartans play the St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Olympia will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Sabers come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 43-30 non-league win over Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL).
