Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Salem Rocks (Canton, MI), 68-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oxford upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI) to clash with the Cougars in a Oakland - Blue bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Stoney Creek lost 57-48 in their recent league bout against Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI)

Next up, the Rocks clash with the Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 49-40 league win over Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI).
