The Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) basketball nipped the visiting Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY), 86-80 in Friday's non-league test.
The Colonels (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Rye Cove was tipped by Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA), 69-49, in a non-league test.
