The St. Mary's Prep Eaglets (Orchard Lake, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting St. John's Jesuit Titans (Toledo, OH), 61-49 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eaglets (3-0) will now prepare for their test against University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI). The Cubs go into the Catholic Central test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, University of Detroit Jesuit went down by Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 71-57, in a league test.
The Titans now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Cleveland Central Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. St. John's Jesuit will encounter a Ironmen squad coming off a 52-37 non-league loss to Garfield Heights (Garfield Heights, OH). The Ironmen record now stands at 3-2.
