Georgia High School Basketball - Stratford Academy thwarts Twiggs County

The Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) basketball knocked off the host Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA), 56-40 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Crawford County notched a victory over Furlow Charter School (Americus, GA), 86-30, in a non-league test.

The Cobras now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Dooly County for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Twiggs County will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 72-44 non-league loss to Crisp County (Cordele, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-4.
