Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA), 61-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lower Merion upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Aces travel to Springfield (Springfield, PA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Bishop Shanahan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 36-35 non-league loss to Henderson (West Chester, PA).
