California High School Basketball - Academy for Academic Excellence topped by Barstow

The Barstow Aztecs basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Academy for Academic Excellence Knights to 31 in the Aztecs non-league victory on Friday.

The Aztecs now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apple Valley for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of Careers & Exploration (Helendale, CA). The Eagle come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Academy of Careers & Exploration prevailed over Baker (Baker, CA), 29-18, in a non-league contest.
