Voyageur Academy Cougar (Detroit, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Academy for Business & Tech Gators (Melvindale, MI), 45-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Voyageur Academy upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Cougar host Chandler Park Academy (Harper Woods, MI) to play the Eagles in a Charter bout on Monday, December 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Chandler Park Academy lost 42-38 in their recent league bout against University Prep (Detroit, MI)

Next up, the Gators play the University Prep Panthers (Detroit, MI) in a Michigan Metro bout, on Monday, December 18. Academy for Business & Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 42-38 league win over Chandler Park Academy (Harper Woods, MI).
