The Roeper Roughriders basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Austin Catholic Crusaders to 18 in the Roughriders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Roughriders now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University Liggett for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21.

The Crusaders (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Landmark Academy (Kimball, MI). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Landmark Academy was routed by Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI), 58-19, in a non-league contest.
