Tennessee High School Basketball - Beech holds off Smith County

December 15, 2023: Carthage, TN 37030

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Beech Buccaneers (Hendersonville, TN) and the host Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN), saw Beech's basketball squad hold off Smith County by a tally of 59-54.

With the victory, Beech improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Cleveland (Cleveland, TN) to confront the Blue Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Blue Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 7-4.

Next up, the Owls confront the Gordonsville Tigers (Gordonsville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Smith County will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
