With the victory, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to St. James (St. James, MN) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 1-5. St. James won 92-86 in their recent league bout against Pipestone (Pipestone, MN)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Rushford-Peterson Trojans (Rushford, MN) in a A Section 1 bout, on Saturday, December 16. Bethlehem Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 66-44 non-league win over La Crescent/La Crescent Montessori & Stem (La Crescent, MN).
