New Jersey High School Basketball - Bogota can't hold off Garfield

The Garfield Boilermakers basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Bogota Buccaneers to 34 in the Boilermakers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Boilermakers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elmwood Park for a Northwest Jersey - Colonial contest on Tuesday, December 19. Garfield will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 51-50 non-league win over Leonia (Leonia, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-0.
The Buccaneers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Milford (New Milford, NJ). The Knights enter the North Jersey - Liberty contest with a 0-2 record.
