Caston Comets (Fulton, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Knox Redskins (Knox, IN), 40-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Caston upgrades its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Frontier (Chalmers, IN) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 1-10. Frontier lost 51-34 in their recent league bout against West Central (Francesville, IN)

Next up, the Redskins play the West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Knox will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 59-57 non-league win over Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN).
