In their next game, the Panthers face the Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool Nighthawks (Topeka, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 19. Centralia will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Nighthawks enter the game with a 7-0 record after their 41-31 non-league win over Christ Prep Academy (Lenexa, KS).

With the defeat, Washington County moves to 3-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 2. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 5-0. Valley Heights won 57-48 in their recent non-league game against Doniphan West (Highland, KS)
