The Lewis Lancers basketball team (Springfield, VA), was overwhelmed 66-15 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA)
The Chargers now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumter for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 21. Chantilly will battle a Gamecocks team coming off a 92-29 non-league win over Crestwood (Sumter, SC). The Gamecocks record now stands at 9-0.
The Lancers (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hayfield (Alexandria, VA). The Hawks come into the District 3 battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Hayfield trounced Woodson (Fairfax, VA), 53-43, in a non-league battle.
