With the victory, Clint improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to San Elizario (San Elizario, TX) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-7.

Next up, the Rockets play the Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Irvin will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
