New Mexico High School Basketball - Estancia succumbs to Texico

The Texico Wolverines defeated the visiting Estancia Bears basketball team by a tally of 48-32 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Wolverines now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newcomb for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 16. Texico will confront a Skyhawks team coming off a 39-32 non-league win over Jal (Jal, NM). The Skyhawks record now stands at 3-2.

The Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Jal (Jal, NM). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Jal dropped by Newcomb (Newcomb, NM), 39-32, in a non-league battle.
