California High School Basketball - Portola can't hold off Fall River

The Fall River Bulldogs basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the visiting Portola Tigers to 34 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Modoc for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Fall River will battle a Braves team coming off a 51-5 non-league win over Tulelake (Tulelake, CA). The Braves record now stands at 10-1.

The Tigers (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Tulelake (Tulelake, CA). The Honkers come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Tulelake was nudged by Modoc (Alturas, CA), 51-5, in a non-league contest.
