Red Lion Christian Academy Lions (Bear, DE) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting First State Military Academy Bulldogs (Clayton, DE), 44-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Red Lion Christian Academy upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Odyssey Charter (Wilmington, DE) to play the Owls in a Freelance bout on Saturday, December 16. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Odyssey Charter won 45-36 in their recent league bout against MOT Charter (Middletown, DE)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Brandywine Bulldogs (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. First State Military Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 40-27 non-league loss to Newark Charter School (Newark, DE).
