Maplewood Tigers (Guys Mills, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA), 53-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Maplewood upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Tigers host Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA) to play the Devils in a District 10 Region 2 bout on Monday, December 18. The Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Cambridge Springs lost 48-22 in their recent non-league bout against Franklin (Franklin, PA)

Next up, the Lancers play the Union City Bears (Union City, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. General McLane will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
