Nebraska High School Basketball - High Plains crushes Giltner

December 15, 2023: Giltner, NE 68841

High Plains Storm (Polk, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Giltner Hornets (Giltner, NE), 45-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, High Plains upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Storm host Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Shelby-Rising City lost 62-40 in their recent non-league bout against McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE)

Next up, the Hornets play the Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE) in a D2 District 4 bout, on Monday, December 18. Giltner will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 49-33 non-league loss to Twin Loup (Sargent, NE).
