Negaunee Miners (Negaunee, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI), 62-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Negaunee upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Miners host Calumet (Calumet, MI) to clash with the Copper Kings in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Copper Kings go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Calumet lost 54-28 in their recent non-league bout against Ishpeming (Ishpeming, MI)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Chassell Panthers (Chassell, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 43-41 non-league loss to Johnston (Bessemer, MI).
