The Selma Bears (Selma, CA) basketball felled the visiting Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA), 38-29 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bears (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA). The Cavaliers go into the Tri-County - Sequoia test with a 6-6 record.
The Patriots now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Sanger West for a North Yosemite test on Tuesday, December 19. Hoover will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 48-27 non-league loss to Reedley (Reedley, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 4-7.
