Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls (Kenner, LA), 70-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northlake Christian upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Lakeshore won 50-43 in their recent non-league bout against Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA)

Next up, the Swamp Owls clash with the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 61-27 non-league loss to Northlake Christian (Covington, LA).
