The Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels basketball team (Moose Lake, MN), was overwhelmed 68-43 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Pierz Pioneers (Pierz, MN)
The Pioneers now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milaca for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. Pierz will battle a Wolves team coming off a 76-41 non-league loss to Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN). The Wolves record now stands at 2-1.
The Rebels (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Barnum (Barnum, MN). The Bombers come into the AA Section 7 battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Barnum was overwhelmed by Esko (Esko, MN), 73-33, in a league battle.
